JI Symposium 2018

Mark your calendars for the 8th annual Symposium of the UMMS-PUHSC Joint Institute for Translational and Clinical Research, set to take place this fall at the University of Michigan Medical School campus in Ann Arbor. Registration is now open. This year’s event run Oct. 15-17, 2018 and is once again anticipated to be the largest yet, with a visiting PUHSC delegation expected to exceed 100 of the organization’s leading physician researchers and scientists.

The three-day schedule includes a day of team meetings followed by two days of panel sessions and plenary talks by PUHSC Vice President Ning Zhang, UMMS Executive Vice Dean for Research Bishr Omary, and others. There will also be a poster session - a good opportunity for U-M researchers to showcase their work to PUHSC colleagues and potential collaborators. The registration deadline, as well as the deadline to submit a poster abstract, is August 15, 2018.
