September 2011

A partnership that is built to last was celebrated in Beijing on September 19th, as leaders from the University of Michigan and Peking University Health Science Center gathered to kick off a symposium and celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Joint Institute.

Six pilot studies have been launched and investigators have established three research cores, or platforms, to support research: a common Institutional Review Board, a biorepository/biomedical informatics core and a core dedicated to the science of collaboration.
